Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Tayé ('jam mgon kong sprul blo gros mtha’ yas, 1813–1899) was recognized by all schools of Buddhism in Tibet as one of the greatest masters of the nineteenth-century Rimé (ris med) ecumenical revival, and is also known for writing and compiling one hundred volumes of teachings.
