The Seventh Riwoché, Jampa Jedrung (ri bo che rje drung byams pa 'byung gnas, 1856–1922) was an emanation of Guru Rinpoche's disciple Langdro Könchok Jungné and student of Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo and Jamgön Kongtrül Rinpoche. As head of Riwoché Monastery, Jampa Jungné primarily upheld the Taklung Kagyü teachings, but he also was a master of the Nyingma tradition, and an accomplished treasure revealer.
