Kyapjé Nyoshul Khen Rinpoché (smyo shul mkhan rin po che, 1932–1999), alias Jamyan Dorjé ('jam dbyangs rdo rje), was such a consummate master of Dzokchen, and such an authority on the teachings of Longchen Rabjam, that his disciples regarded him as Longchenpa in the flesh. He was the teacher of many of the younger generation of Tibetan teachers.
