A Prayer by Marpa Lotsawa
chö kü khala yeshé trin pung trik
In the dharmakāya sky, rainclouds of primordial wisdom amass,
char gyün trülpé drowa yong la khyap
their continuous rain of emanations reaching all beings.
gyüpa miché kyebü lama chok
Supreme gurus, great beings of this uninterrupted lineage––
dela go sum güpé chak tsal lo
to you I respectfully pay homage with body, speech, and mind.
This was spoken by Marpa Lotsawa, whose two root gurus were Naropa and Maitripa.
