༄༅། །དཔལ་ལྡན་ཀརྨ་པ་ལ་གསོལ་འདེབས། །
A Prayer to the Glorious Karmapa
དཀོན་མཆོག་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་འདུས་པའི་སྐུ། །
könchok gyamtsö tukjé düpé ku
Embodiment of the ocean of the Three Jewels’ compassion,
རྩ་གསུམ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་བྱིན་རླབས་རྫོགས་པའི་དཔལ། །
tsa sum gyamtsö jinlap dzokpé pel
complete glory of the ocean of the Three Roots’ blessings,
སྐྱབས་གནས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་དབང་ཕྱུག་རྗེ། །
kyapné gyamtsö trinlé wangchuk jé
sovereign of the ocean of sources of refuge’s activities,
དཔལ་ལྡན་ཀརྨ་པ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
pelden karma pa la sölwa dep
glorious Karmapa, to you I pray:
ཐུགས་རྗེས་གཟིགས་ལ་དགོངས་བརྒྱུད་བྱིན་རླབས་ཕོབ། །
tukjé zik la gonggyü jinlap pop
look on me with your compassion; inspire my mind stream with your blessings,
ལས་ཉོན་བག་ཉལ་སྒྲིབ་ཚོགས་བྱང་བ་དང་། །
lé nyön bak nyel drip tsok jangwa dang
purify all of my karma, afflictions, habitual tendencies and obscurations,
རྟོགས་གྲོལ་དུས་མཉམ་མཆོག་གི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཆེ། །
tok dröl dünyam chok gi jangchup ché
and let me, right here and right now, attain the supreme enlightenment,
སྟན་ཐོག་འདི་རུ་ཐོབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
ten tok diru toppar dzé du söl
simultaneous realization and liberation!
ཞེས་པའང་སྟོང་ནག་ཡར་དགོན་ནས་ཆོས་ལྡན་ཀརྨ་ཆོས་འགྲུབ་སེང་གེའི་ངོར། ཀརྨ་པས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ།
At the request of the Dharma practitioner Karma Chödrup Sengé, the Karmapa wrote this prayer at Tong-nak Yargön. May it be virtuous!
