༄༅། །རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ལ་གསོལ་འདེབས། །
A Prayer to the Root Guru
སངས་རྒྱས་ཀུན་དངོས་ཚད་མེད་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་གཏེར། །
sangyé kün ngö tsemé tukjé ter
Embodiment of all Buddhas, treasure of immeasurable compassion,
སྐྱབས་ཀུན་འདུས་ཞལ་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ལ། །
kyap kündü zhel tsawé lama la
root guru, the very face and embodiment of all sources of refuge,
མི་ཕྱེད་སྙིང་ནས་གདུང་བས་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
miché nying né dungwé sölwa dep
to you I pray with unwavering and heartfelt longing:
ཡེ་ཤེས་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
yeshé chen gyi zik la chingyi lop
gaze on me with eyes of wisdom and inspire me with your blessings!
ཞེས་པའང་ཀརྨ་དམ་ཆོས་དཔལ་འཛོམ་གྱི་ངོར། ཀརྨ་པའི་མཚན་འཛིན་བཅོ་ལྔ་པས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ། །།
This prayer was composed by the one who holds the name of 15th Karmapa, at the request of Karma Damchö Paldzom. Virtue!
