༄༅། །ལྷ་ཀླུ་གཉན་གསུམ་བཤགས་པ།

A Confession to the Deities, Nagas, and Nyen Spirits

ཀྱཻ། །བདག་ཅག་རྒྱུ་སྦྱོར་ཡོན་བདག་གིས། །

kyé, dakchak gyujor yöndak gi

Kyé! Whatever we practitioners and our patrons have done

གང་འགྲོ་གར་འདུག་གནས་པའི་ཚོགས། །

gang dro gar duk népé tsok

in the places we reside in and those we travel through,

ཡུལ་ཕྱོགས་འདི་ལ་བརྟེན་གནས་པའི། །

yülchok di la ten nepé

to all of you who inhabit and depend upon these places—

ལྷ་ཀླུ་གཉན་གསུམ་ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ལ། །

lha lu nyen sum khyönam la

devas, nagas, and nyen spirits¹—

ཕ་མ་སྔ་རབས་འདས་པ་དང༌། །

phama ngarap dépa dang

whatever we have done, including our ancestors’ actions of the past,

བུ་ཚ་ཕྱི་རབས་ཡན་ཆད་དུ། །

butsa chirap yenché du

and our descendants’ actions in the future—

ས་གཉན་བརྐོས་དང་རྡོ་གཉན་བསླང༌། །

sanyen kö dang donyen lang

any and all transgressions, such as digging into the earth spirits, interfering with the stone spirits,

ཆུ་གཉན་དཀྲུགས་དང་ཤིང་གཉན་བཅད། །

chu nyen truk dang shing nyen ché

stirring up the water spirits, and cutting into the tree spirits,

དུར་བཏབ་གཤིན་ལས་གང་བྱས་སོགས། །

durtap shinlé gang jé sok

disturbing burial ground and funeral rites–all these things and more,

མ་རིག་མ་ཤེས་ཅི་བགྱིས་པ། །

marik mashé chi gyipa

that we have done in our ignorance,

མཐོལ་ལོ་བཤགས་སོ་དག་གྱུར་ཅིག །

tölo shakso dak gyur chik

we hereby declare and confess. May they be purified!

ཅེས་རིག་འཛིན་ཉི་མ་གྲགས་པའི་བསངས་མཆོད་ནས་ཁོལ་དུ་ཕྱུང་བ་འདི་ནི་རཱ་ག་ཨ་སྱས་མཛད་པའོ།། །།
