Supplication to the Triad of Khyentsé, Kongtrül and Chokling

བཻ་རོ་དངོས་སྣང་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་གཏེར། །

vero ngönang yonten gyamtsö ter

Manifestation of Vairotsana, treasure of an ocean of qualities (Yönten Gyamtso),

རྒྱལ་བས་ལུང་བསྟན་བློ་གྲོས་མཐའ་ཡས་ཞབས། །

gyelwé lungten lodrö tayé zhap

Venerable One of infinite intelligence (Lodrö Tayé), prophesied by the Victors

པདྨས་རྗེས་བཟུང་གར་དབང་འགྲོ་འདུལ་རྩལ། །

pemé jezung garwang drodül tsel

and cared for by Pema, majestic tamer of beings (Garwang Drodül Tsel),

བསྟན་གཉིས་གླིང་པའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

tenyi lingpé zhap la sölwa dep

sanctuary of the two teachings (Tenyi Lingpa)1—I supplicate at your feet!

 

ལྷ་སྲས་རྣམ་འཕྲུལ་ཨོ་རྒྱན་རྒྱལ་ཚབ་ཆེ། །

lhasé namtrül orgyen gyeltsap ché

Emanation of Prince Lhasé, great regent of Orgyen (Orgyen Gyeltsap),

སྤྲུལ་པའི་གཏེར་ཆེན་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར། །

trülpé terchen yong kyi khorlö gyur

universal monarch of all incarnated great treasure revealers (Trülpé Terchen),

གྲུབ་པ་མཆོག་གི་ཡེ་ཤེས་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར། །

drupa chok gi yeshé ngöndu gyur

actualizer of supreme (Chokgyur) siddhas’ primordial wisdom,

བདེ་ཆེན་གླིང་པའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

dechen lingpé zhap la sölwa dep

sanctuary of great bliss (Dechen Lingpa)2—I supplicate at your feet!

 

ཆོས་རྒྱལ་རྣམ་འཕྲུལ་བི་མས་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས། །

chögyel namtrül bimé jingyi lap

Emanation of the Dharma King, blessed by Vimalamitra,

ཟབ་རྒྱས་བཀའ་བབས་དུ་མའི་ཤིང་རྟ་ཆེ། །

zap gyé kabap dumé shingta ché

great charioteer of the vast and profound transmissions,

འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས་དངོས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་ནུས་པའི་གཏེར། །

jampel yang ngö khyentsé nüpé ter

manifestation of Mañjuśrī, treasure of wisdom, love (Khyentsé), and power,

མདོ་སྔགས་གླིང་པའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

do-ngak lingpé zhap la sölwa dep

sanctuary of Sutra and Mantra (Do-Ngak Lingpa)3—I supplicate at your feet!

ཞེས་པའང་འཇམ་མགོན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་བློ་གྲོས་མཐའ་ཡས་པའི་སྡེས་བཀའ་གནང་ཞིང་། མོས་ལྡན་དུ་མས་ཀྱང་བསྐུལ་བས་མཚམས་སྦྱར་ཏེ་བྱ་བྲལ་བ་ཆོས་རྗེ་འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའུ་དབང་པོ་བྲིས་པ་དགེ །

Since both the eminent Gentle Vajradhara Lodrö Tayé commanded it and several faithful people made the same request, the unencumbered Dharma Lord Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo composed this supplication. May it bring virtue!

  1. Jamgön Kongtrül Lodrö Tayé, also known as Yönten Gyamtso, was given the name Pema Garwang Trinlé Drodül Tsel during a tantric empowerment. His tertön name was Chimé Tenyi Yungdrung Lingpa.
  2. Orgyen Gyeltsap Trülpé Terchen was a common epithet for Chokgyur Decheb Lingpa.
  3. Pema Ösel Do-Ngak Lingpa was Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo’s tertön name.
