This New Moon day, Sunday the 21st of June, concurs with a solar eclipse. It is said that a solar eclipse during the sacred month of Saga Dawa is especially powerful for accumulating merit. On this auspicious occasion, we are delighted to share with our latest translations of two treasures initially hidden by Guru Padmasambhava: the Kangyur Nyingpo revealed by Guru Chöwang and Uprooting Downfalls revealed by Nyala Pema Düdul. Both texts present a condensation of the Kangyur, the Collected Words of the Buddha. By invoking various buddhas through either homage or mantra, they offer a powerful method for purifying obscurations and accumulating merit, equivalent to reciting the Kangyur in its entirety.
