༄༅། །རྒྱང་འབོད་གསོལ་འདེབས་འོད་གསལ་སྤྲིན་གྱི་ཐོལ་གླུ་བཞུགས་སོ། །
Luminous Clouds of Spontaneous Song
A Prayer to Call the Guru from Afar
གདོད་ནས་སྤྲོས་བྲལ་རང་བྱུང་འདུས་མ་བྱས། །
döné trödrel rangjung dümajé
Original simplicity, naturally occurring, uncompounded,
གཏིང་གསལ་ཞི་བ་གཞོན་ནུ་བུམ་སྐུའི་ཀློང་། །
tingsel zhiwa zhönnu bumkü long
profound luminosity and peace, the youthful vase body’s expanse—
ནང་གསལ་མི་གཡོ་ཆོས་སྐུའི་བླ་མ་མཁྱེན། །
nangsel mi yo chökü lama khyen
Watch over me, dharmakaya guru, whose inner brilliance never wavers!
ཆོས་ཉིད་ཟད་སར་འཁྱོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
chönyi zé sar khyölwar chingyi lop
Bless me to reach exhaustion within dharmata!1
རང་གསལ་མ་འགགས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རོལ་པའི་རྩལ། །
rangsel magak lhündrup rölpé tsel
Your expressive play, natural luminosity unceasing, is spontaneously present
སྐུ་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཞིང་ཁམས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལ། །
ku dang yeshé zhingkham gyamtso la
as an ocean of kayas, wisdoms, and pure realms—
རྣམ་པར་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྫོགས་སྐུའི་བླ་མ་མཁྱེན། །
nampar longchö dzok kü lama khyen
Watch over me, samboghakaya guru, who fully enjoys the display!
དབྱིངས་རིག་ཚད་ལ་ཕེབས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
yingrik tsé la peppar chingyi lop
Bless me to reach the fullness of awareness and space!
ཀུན་ཁྱབ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་རྩལ་སྣང་སྒྱུ་དྲྭའི་གར། །
künkhyap tukjé tselnang gyu dré gar
As the expression of all-pervasive capacity, dance of the magical net,
མ་ངེས་གདུལ་བྱའི་ཁམས་ལ་རྟག་རྩེན་པ། །
ma ngé düljé kham la tak tsenpa
You frolic endlessly in the varied realms of disciples to be tamed.
སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ་མཆོག་ཨོ་ཌཱྀ་ཡ་ན་མཁྱེན། །
trülpé ku chok udiyana khyen
Watch over me Uddiyana, supreme nirmaṇakaya!
འོད་གསལ་ཉམས་སྣང་འཕེལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
ösel nyam nang pelwar chingyi lop
Bless me, that the visionary experience of luminosity may unfold!
རྒྱལ་ཀུན་འདུས་ཞལ་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ལ། །
gyel kündü zhel tsawé lama la
Root guru, the single face and embodiment of all the Victors,
སངས་རྒྱས་ཆོས་སྐུར་བལྟ་བའི་མོས་གུས་ཀྱིས། །
sangyé chökur tawé mögü kyi
May my devotion allow me to see you as the dharmakaya buddha,
དགོངས་བརྒྱུད་བྱིན་རླབས་སྙིང་གི་ཐིག་ལེར་འཁྱིལ། །
gongyü jinlap nying gi tiklér khyil
So that the blessings of the Wisdom Lineage seep into my heart,
རིག་གདངས་ཆོས་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་མཐོང་བར་ཤོག །
rikdang chönyi ngönsum tongwar shok
And I may see directly the radiance of awareness—dharmata!
དྲི་མེད་རང་བྱུང་རིག་པའི་ལྟ་བ་རྟོགས། །
drimé rangjung rigpé tawa tok
May I realize the view of stainless, naturally occurring awareness,
བསལ་བཞག་ལས་འདས་སྒོམ་པ་ཚད་ལ་འཁྱོལ། །
sel zhak lé dé gompa tsé la khyöl
And bring to fullness the meditation that transcends addition or removal.
སྤང་བླང་བྱ་རྩོལ་བྲལ་བའི་སྤྱོད་མཆོག་གིས། །
panglang jatsöl drelwé chö chok gi
Through the supreme conduct free from acceptance and rejection, application and exertion,
འཁོར་འདས་མཉམ་གདལ་གཏན་སྲིད་ཟིན་པར་ཤོག །
khordé nyam del tensi zinpar shok
May I seize the everlasting realm that equally suffuses samsara and nirvana!
ཁྱད་པར་འོད་གསལ་ཐོད་རྒལ་གསེང་ལམ་ནས། །
khyepar ösel tögel seng lam né
Through the direct path of Crossing Over2 to luminosity in particular,
སྐུ་གསུམ་ལམ་གྱི་སྣང་བ་གཅིག་ཆར་རྫོགས། །
ku sum lam gyi nangwa chikchar dzok
May the visionary path of the three kayas be instantly perfected!
འཕོ་ཆེན་འཇའ་ལུས་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཡིས། །
po chen jalü yeshé dorjé yi
By the great transference of the rainbow body, the wisdom vajra,
གཞན་སྣང་འཁོར་བ་དོང་ནས་སྤྲུགས་པར་ཤོག །
zhennang khorwa dong né trukpar shok
May I dredge from its depths the samsara of others’ perceptions!
མདོར་ན་འདི་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་མ་ཐོབ་བར། །
dorna di né jangchup mathopar
In short, may the peerless lord of the family, my glorious Lord Guru,
མཚུངས་བྲལ་རིགས་བདག་དཔལ་མགོན་བླ་མ་ཡིས། །
tsungdrel rikdak pelgön lama yi
Look after me without a moment’s separation,
སྐད་ཅིག་འབྲལ་པ་མེད་པར་རྗེས་བཟུང་སྟེ། །
kechik drelpa mepar jezung té
From now until I attain awakening!
དོན་གཉིས་ཡིད་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
dön nyi yizhin druppar chingyi lop
Bless me, that the twofold benefit be accomplished just as I wish!
ཞེས་པ་འདིའང་རྗེ་བླ་མའི་སྤྲོས་མེད་དོན་གྱི་བླ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཆ་ལག་ཏུ་དོན་གཉེར་དད་དམ་ནོར་གྱིས་ཕྱུག་པ་འགས་ལྷ་རྫས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེས་བྱ་ནོམ་པ་དང་བཅས་བསྐུལ་བ་དོན་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་མཁན་མིང་འཇམ་དབྱངས་རྡོ་རྗེས་དྭངས་བའི་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་སྨོན་པ་སྟེ་དོན་བརྒྱུད་དགོངས་པའི་བྱིན་རླབས་འཇུག་པའི་རྒྱུར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
In order to fulfill the earnest request, accompanied by gifts of fine silken scarves, of several disciples who are rich in earnestness, faith, and samaya, Jamyang Dorjé, who holds the name of a khenpo, made this aspiration with a mind of vivid inspiration as a supplement to the Lord Guru’s Ultimate Guru Sadhana of Simplicity. May it become a cause for receiving the blessings of the realization of the ultimate lineage!
གོང་གསལ་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ་མཆོག་ཨོ་ཌཱྀ་ཡ་ན་མཁྱེན། ཞེས་པའི་ཚབ་ཏུ་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ་མཆོག་བཱི་མ་མི་ཏྲ་མཁྱེན། སོགས་བླ་མ་གང་ལའང་ཞལ་བསྒྱུར་ཆོག་པ་ནི་རྒྱལ་བ་ཀློང་ཆེན་པའི་མན་ངག་བླ་ན་མེད་པའོ།།
The line above that reads “Watch over me Uddiyana, supreme nirmanakaya!” may be altered to read “Watch over me Vimalamitra, supreme nirmanakaya!” In the same way, according to the unexcelled pith instructions of Gyalwa Longchenpa, the name of any other guru may be inserted.
